VIENTIANE, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) -- Laos' Ministry of Home Affairs, in collaboration with development partners, launched a project titled "Enhancing Efficiency and Accessibility of Public Services in Laos (LEAP)," aiming to create a more effective and inclusive public service system.
The project focuses on ensuring equal access to essential services, particularly for citizens in underserved and remote areas, Lao News Agency reported on Monday.
The project aims to streamline service delivery processes to improve efficiency, leverage digital tools to make services more accessible, strengthen institutional capacities to respond effectively to people's needs, empower civil society organizations to enhance access to public services, address local needs, and foster community-based solutions.
The ministry is working with its development partners to ensure that public administration serves as a bridge to equitable development. Providing high-quality services and increasing access for all people can transform lives and ensure that no one is left behind. ■
