KATHMANDU, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- Nepal's international trade increased in the first five months of the current 2024-25 fiscal year as both exports and imports climbed over the same period of last fiscal year.
According to a report released by the Department of Customs on Sunday, Nepal's trade was 5.42 billion U.S. dollars by mid-December, an increase of 4.21 percent over the same period of 2023-24 fiscal year.
Nepal's imports and exports were valued at 4.88 billion dollars and 543.76 million dollars during the period, an increase of 3 percent and 16.54 percent respectively. ■
